Hello there, and welcome back to my blog today! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week…
TikTok Growth and Business Feedback
Wow, what a week! It seems like the busier I get in my business, the more I realize there’s always more to learn and improve on. I’ve been plugging away at my TikTok videos, and I’m thrilled to see my following continue to grow. That part of the journey has been exciting! Just when I thought I had everything set up on my website, I got some great feedback from one of my coaches, Glenn, that opened my eyes to a few key things I could do to make my business even better.
The Power of the Bridge Page
Glenn’s advice was a reminder of something I already knew but had forgotten about: the importance of setting up a “bridge page” for my subscribers. When people opt in to get my lead magnet, I’ve been stopping the process right there, of course after they received their lead magnet, but Glenn pointed out that this is a great opportunity to give them even more value and build trust. By offering them another free resource on the bridge page, I can strengthen my connection with them and provide even more value before delivering the lead magnet I initially promised. This simple tweak can make a huge difference in building a relationship with my audience and increasing conversions.
Have I set this up yet? Well, not yet, but I plan to work on it soon! It’s all part of the process, and I’ll likely be reaching out to Glenn again for more guidance once I dive into it. Websites are not my forte, and this whole journey is a learning curve, but I know it will be worth the effort.
Streamlining the Opt-In Process
Another thing Glenn helped me with was placing my “opt-in form” directly on my website’s sidebar. Initially, I had my opt-in set up so visitors would have to click on an image on my sidebar that directed them to the free guide I was offering, which would take them to my opt-in page, and then they’d need to click another button to finally get to the form. Glenn made me realize that asking people to jump through too many hoops like that can cause them to lose interest. You want to make the process as easy as possible, if visitors have to do too much to sign up, they might just leave and then you are left without a lead on your list.
Of course, placing the form on the sidebar was easier said than done! I ran into some technical issues, and even Glenn couldn’t quite figure it out after going through everything. I reached out to the support team in the Affiliate System, and they were kind enough to schedule a Zoom call with me for Monday to help troubleshoot and resolve the problem. It’s fantastic to have that level of support when you need it!
If you take a look at my sidebar you will see there’s a big gap at the bottom of my form and a smaller gap at the top under the wording I have there. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, I’d really appreciate it! I’ve tried adjusting the form settings, but nothing seems to work. I suspect it might be something to do with my website theme. Hopefully, I will get it fixed on Monday.
Continuing the Conversation with Email Sequences
Speaking of support, I also had another Zoom call with Sophie about my email sequences. I recently finished my sequence of 15 emails and wanted advice on what to do once that sequence runs out. Sophie shared some great tips on how to continue engaging with my subscribers. The key is to follow up consistently, if you’re not landing in their inbox at least three times a week, they’ll forget who you are and will unsubscribe, and your chances of making sales drop dramatically.
Sophie emphasized the importance of always providing value in your emails, answering any questions your subscribers may have, and including offers when it feels appropriate. The goal is to build trust, and staying consistent with your emails plays a big part in that.
Wrapping Up a Productive Week
So, yes, it’s been a busy week, and that might not even cover everything I’ve worked on, but all the feedback and support I’ve received from Glenn, Sophie, have been invaluable! I’m excited to implement these new strategies, continue growing my business, and keep connecting with my audience.
Let me know if you have any questions or if there’s something specific you’d like to hear more about. Thanks for following along on this journey!

Hi Meredith,
Great post and I can definitely relate being in the whirlwind kind of week myself!
Great support both for our systems as well as coming from Mentors helps us not only keep us on course but definitely also helps us NOT quit!
In regards to the “gap” you mention, did you see if it appears on a phone? It might be just a desktop thing. It also might be a question of having to change your WordPress theme? Something I’m actually looking to do… only scary part is not knowing how it will look on another Theme (I can actually hear Glenn yelling at me: save save save your work!).
All the best!
Hi Marc,
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the post! 😊 It really has been one of those whirlwind weeks, hasn’t it? Having that support from mentors and our systems makes such a difference in keeping us on track and pushing through.
Great tip on checking the “gap” on mobile! It might just be a desktop issue, and changing the theme could be an option, though I totally get the hesitation there. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking, but I can practically hear Glenn’s voice too, “save, save, save!” 😂
Thanks for the encouragement, and wishing you the best with your theme switch! Let’s keep each other posted on any theme tips we pick up!

Wow, what an action-packed week! It’s so motivating to see you diving into each step and making improvements, even when things get tricky! That bridge page advice from Glenn is gold—what a great way to build more trust and give even more value upfront.
And I totally get the struggle with the opt-in form! It’s like a mini puzzle every time something doesn’t quite line up on the website. But hey, you’ve got a Zoom call lined up, so that sidebar’s going to be flawless soon enough.
Also, props to you for working on email sequences with Sophie! It’s inspiring to see how you’re really focusing on connecting with your audience and keeping things genuine. Can’t wait to hear how all these tweaks pay off for you. Keep up the fantastic work!
Hi Sarah,
Thank you so much! 😊 It really has been a packed week, but seeing everything come together makes it worth it! Glenn’s advice about the bridge page is definitely a game changer for adding value right off the bat, and I’m excited to see how it impacts engagement.
The opt-in form has been a bit of a challenge, it’s like you said, a mini puzzle that just won’t click into place. But I’m hopeful the Zoom call will sort it out and get everything looking seamless!
And I appreciate the encouragement on the email sequences! Working with Sophie has been great for keeping that genuine connection with my audience, which is really the goal. Thank you again for the support, it means a lot, and I’m excited to keep you posted on the results!
