The Struggle Is Real!
Welcome to my very first blog post!
Hi! My name is Meredith Moore and I’m thrilled to have you here and starting this journey with me. Setting up my website has been quite an adventure. I’m excited to share my whole journey of building my affiliate marketing business with you in hopes that when you start your business you will not make the same mistakes as I did. You ready to go for the ride?
What an experience this has been setting up my website!
Let me tell you, setting up this website has been a journey and a half already! I mean, who knew it would be so darn complicated? Thank goodness for my mentor, Dean, and my son, Zachary, who’s basically a computer wiz. Without them, I’d be lost in cyberspace!
I’m just your average person trying to figure it all out just like you. Let me tell you, it’s been a rollercoaster ride of trial and error, but you know what they say, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk, right? It’s just a matter of having patience, dedication, and being consistent to getting it done. Then you win!
Speaking of learning, I had a lightbulb moment recently!
It is crucial to ask for help in this business, and I have not been doing that. That will be changing from here on! My mentor, Dean, and his team are wonderful with always being there all the time to help you when you need it, and reminding us to ask questions! It really does makes a difference when you do ask for help with the things you are struggling with. I will be doing that from now on.. That’s why it’s important to have a mentor. There’s no way I could have done this by myself!
Brace yourselves, folks, I’m about to dive in! Sure, putting myself out there on platforms like YouTube and TikTok is a little nerve-wracking, but you have to step out of your comfort zone to grow, right? You must get comfortable with not being comfortable in this business. Don’t get scared though because I was just like you when I began my journey. I didn’t like putting myself out there and look at me now.. Here’s to turning everyday challenges into opportunities, finding humor in tech troubles, and emerging stronger each time. Let’s make the ordinary extraordinary!
Wishing you all a week filled with small victories and big smiles. If you ever need a friendly ear, or just wanna chat, you know where to find me! You can leave a comment below, and I will be happy to get back to you.
Until then!
To Our Success,
Welcome to Blogging Meredith,
Great opening and great post.. I did the same thing. Struggled, had to have my IT husband jump in to help. Then realized the help button on the bottom right corner is also amazing with info and video’s as well.
Looking forward to reading your 2nd post and maybe your about you page. 🙂
We are all here to help each other, this group is awesome.
Sandy
Hi Sandy!
I don’t know what I would have done if my son wasn’t here to help. He was great…
The button you’re talking about is the one in Affiliate System? I’m not sure where you’re talking about.
Anyway, thank you so much for your nice comments. I know I still have a lot of work to do on everything. I look forward to taking a look at your post as well. Until next week!

Meredith, well done and congratulations on your first blog. I bet a year ago you never thought you’d be able to do this and look what you have achieved already. With help from Dean and from your son, you will develop and improve each day. Congratulations for taking the step towards affiliate marketing. There’s so many people that need help with it and with the experience you gain you’ll soon be one of the experts that can provide value to so many people. Well done, I look forward to your next blog, thanks, Atif
Hi Atif,
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I do feel good right now because I finally did get this accomplished! At one point, I wasn’t sure if that was going to happen. I didn’t give up though, and that’s the one thing that kills it for people trying in this industry. Not following through and giving up. I’ve been through too much in my life to give up now…
I really do appreciate everything my son has done for me, but mostly everything that Dean has done for us! He has been great for all of us, and we’re lucky to have him helping us.
I look forward to taking a look at your post too. Until next week!

Meredith, congratulations on getting your blog set up! It’s so great that you have your son in your corner cheering you on 🙂 Good luck with social media! I haven’t put myself out there yet. Getting closer… I love the look of your blog! See you next week!
Hi Nakina,
Thank you so much for being one of the first to comment on my post. I appreciate the feedback you gave me about the comment section too. Thank you!
I’m very lucky to have my son helping me. Computers have been his world since he was probably 7. His major, he will be going into here soon, will be Computer Science. He’s great at all of that stuff, so I’m very lucky to have him around if I need him.
The social media thing, I’m not looking forward to at all! I know just about the same with social media as I know with setting up a website! The only one I’m familiar with is Facebook, and not even that with putting myself out there. The good thing is, my sons are both good with all the platforms, so I’ll get them to help me with all of that too.
I look forward to taking a look at your post. Until next week!

Meredith,
Huge congratulations on publishing your first blog! The first step is always the toughest, but it gets smoother from here. You’re on the right track to success! Best of luck with whichever social media platform you choose – I have no doubt you’ll do amazing. Keep up the fantastic work!

Sherri,
Thank you so much for the kind words. This has definitely been an experience for me so far, but I’m enjoying it. I plan to continue creating and building my business. Hopefully, I will be able to reach some people, and be able to help them with their business as well. Thank you, and take care.
