Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog today!
I hope everyone has had a great week. I’ve been keeping myself busy with posting and learning everything there is to know about TikTok. My mentor, Dean, often emphasizes the importance of choosing your main platform, mastering it, and growing your audience before branching out to other platforms. That’s exactly what I’ve been focusing on these past two weeks with TikTok. While there’s still a lot to learn, each day brings me closer to my goal of getting followers and making money while helping others in the process.
Today, I want to dive into something I’ve found to be absolutely crucial for success on TikTok
Consistency in Posting
Why Consistency on TikTok Is Crucial
Consistency is key on any social media platform, but it’s especially vital on TikTok. The TikTok algorithm rewards content creators who post regularly. When you consistently upload new videos, you not only increase your chances of being seen by more people but also build a stronger connection with your audience. This leads to higher engagement, more followers, and ultimately, more opportunities to convert those followers into leads and customers.
Regular posting helps you stay top-of-mind with your audience. In a fast-paced platform like TikTok, where trends change rapidly and content is consumed quickly, staying consistent ensures that your audience remembers you and keeps coming back for more. Over time, this builds trust and credibility, making your audience more likely to engage with your content and take the actions you’re guiding them toward, whether that’s signing up for your email list, clicking on an affiliate link, or purchasing a product.
How to Maintain Consistency on TikTok
Maintaining consistency on TikTok can be challenging, especially if you’re juggling other responsibilities or managing multiple platforms. However, with a solid strategy and a little discipline, you can establish a posting routine that works for you. Here are some strategies to help you maintain a regular posting schedule:
1. Create a Content Calendar
Plan your content ahead of time by creating a content calendar. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you always have something ready to post. A content calendar allows you to map out your ideas, set deadlines, and avoid the last-minute scramble to create and upload videos.
2. Batch Create Content
Dedicate specific days or times to batch-creating content. For example, you might set aside a few hours on the weekend to film and edit multiple videos. This way, you’ll always have a backlog of content ready to go, making it easier to post consistently throughout the week.
3. Set Realistic Goals
Start with a posting schedule that’s realistic for you. If you’re just getting started, aim to post at least once a day. As you become more comfortable and efficient, you can gradually increase your posting frequency. Remember, it’s better to post consistently a few times a week than to post every day for a week and then disappear for the next two.
4. Repurpose Content
Don’t be afraid to repurpose your content. If you’ve created a video that performed well, consider breaking it down into shorter clips, adding a different spin, or reusing it in a different format. This not only saves you time but also allows you to maximize the value of your content.
5. Engage with Your Audience
Consistency isn’t just about posting regularly; it’s also about engaging with your audience consistently. Respond to comments, participate in trends, and interact with other creators. This helps build a community around your content and keeps your audience coming back for more.
What a Consistent Posting Schedule Could Look Like
Here’s an example of a consistent posting schedule that you could follow on TikTok
– Monday: Post a motivational video or a tip related to your niche.
– Wednesday: Share a behind-the-scenes look at your process or a day in your life.
– Friday: Post a fun, engaging video that aligns with current trends.
– Saturday: Upload a recap of your week, sharing what you’ve learned or any new insights.
This schedule allows you to post regularly without overwhelming yourself. It also provides variety, which keeps your content fresh and engaging for your audience.
What have we learned today?
1. Consistency in posting on TikTok is essential for building engagement and growing an audience.
2. Creating a content calendar and batch-creating videos can help maintain a regular posting schedule.
3. Engaging with your audience consistently is just as important as regular posting for long-term success on TikTok.
Consistency is the backbone of success on TikTok. By maintaining a regular posting schedule, you can build a loyal following, increase your engagement, and achieve your goals more effectively. Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about showing up, learning, and improving with each post. So keep going, and watch your efforts pay off!

To Our Success,
Hi Meredith!
I completely agree with you about the importance of having a content calendar! I’ve actually developed a report on the power of concise and relevant subject lines, which I’m planning to use for my posting schedule on both TikTok and Facebook. It’s exciting to think about how this will help me stay organized and engaged with my audience. Your strategies are super actionable and inspiring, and I can’t wait to see how your TikTok journey progresses. Keep up the fantastic work!
All the Best!
What a great post, Meredith!
I have to admit this week, I went MIA on social. It can be hard sometimes to stay consistent as it is easy to get caught up in the day-to-day hustle and forget to plan ahead. I’ve found that setting aside dedicated time for filming and editing takes a lot of stress out of the process. But sometimes, I don’t have a free day to do it, and it knocks me off track. Working 6 days a week isn’t helping, so doing small on-the-fly posts daily has been my solution. But I much prefer to create ahead and have a cushion of content to fall back on. Maybe I should take some PTO and just do a week where I record my content for the month – lol.
Thanks for sharing all these insights! Looking forward to seeing how your TikTok journey unfolds and learning more from your experiences!
Hi Alison,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I totally get where you’re coming from! It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and lose track of social media planning. Setting aside dedicated time for filming and editing is such a smart approach, but I know how tough it can be to find that time, especially with a busy schedule. Your strategy of doing small, on-the-fly posts daily is a great way to stay consistent, though! Taking a PTO week to batch record content sounds like an amazing idea, imagine the peace of mind of having a whole month’s worth of content ready to go! 😄
I appreciate your support and am excited to continue sharing my TikTok journey with you. Here’s to finding that balance and making it work, keep up the great work!

batch creation has helped me maintain consistent posting. I went on vacation a couple weeks ago and it threw off my creating schedule, I’ll be back on schedule this week. But I should have planned what I was doing before I left to keep myself on track.
Hi Nathan,
Planning ahead can definitely make a world of difference! I totally understand how a vacation can disrupt the routine. The good news is that you’re aware of it and ready to get back on track. Batch creation is such a lifesaver for staying consistent, especially when life gets busy. I know I would be lost if I didn’t plan ahead. I’m sure you’ll be back in your groove in no time! Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing your experience!

Meredith, that’s great crucial advice for being consistent on the frequent posting of videos on TikTok.
What stands out to me is that this advice can be applied to any traffic strategy be it video, audio or even text.
Take my blog hopping strategy. I’m seeing a lot more clicks in my Internet Profits backoffice without sending out explicit links. I mean my audience is now finding the good content on their own.
And I believe it comes down to consitent shares of those blog posts that help to move my buisness forward.
Hi Robert,
Absolutely! Your insight is so right. The principle of consistency definitely applies across all traffic strategies, whether it’s video, audio, or text.
It’s fantastic to hear that your blog-hopping strategy is paying off. Seeing more clicks in your Internet Profits back office without having to send out direct links shows how powerful regular, valuable content sharing can be. It’s great that your audience is discovering and engaging with your content on their own.
Consistency truly does drive business growth. Keep up the great work!

Hi Meredith – You are doing fantastic! What a great idea to organize Tiktok like you would anything else in life. Calendar idea and I love how you are approaching your business. I tend to be scattered and just say what’s on my mind and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I can just learn from you and be a little more organized so thank you for this valuable post! Have a great week!
Hi Ernie,
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad you found the calendar idea helpful. It’s definitely been very helpful for me in staying organized with TikTok.
I totally understand where you’re coming from, sometimes being spontaneous and speaking from the heart can be just as powerful. If my approach can offer some inspiration or help with organization, that’s wonderful to hear.
Thanks again for your feedback, and I hope you have a fantastic week as well! 😊

Hey Meredith,
This rings so true with me. I have not always been very consistent with posting videos, and I need to get over the concept that I don’t always have to be in the video to post a video. I just need to maintain consistency. It was suggested by someone to go into the TikTok creators section (I think that’s what it’s called) to get more ideas about what kind of engaging content to post so that is what I will be doing today. I appreciate the reminder about this subject, as it’s easy to let things slide when you have so many things to do, but this should be a priority as TikTok is my primary platform, and I need to step it up. Thank you for the encouragement! Great job!
Hi Vanessa,
I totally get it, staying consistent can be tough, especially when life gets busy! But you’re on the right track. Checking out the TikTok creators section for inspiration is a great idea! And remember, not every post needs to have you front and center, there are so many creative ways to share value. You’ve got this, and the fact that you’re prioritizing it shows you’re already stepping up! Keep going, and I’m excited to see what you come up with!
