Hello there, and welcome back to my blog!
I hope you’ve had a fantastic week….
Today, I’m beyond thrilled to share an update on the incredible progress I made with my website! Last week, I was knee deep in challenges, feeling like I was hitting one roadblock after another, but I stayed persistent, and it finally paid off in the best way possible! I can’t wait to take you through the journey of overcoming each obstacle and share the powerful lessons I learned along the way. This has been such an exciting breakthrough!
The Power of Persistence
When you’re building a business, persistence is non-negotiable. My journey to fix my website took more determination than I anticipated, but giving up wasn’t an option! In affiliate marketing, staying the course is key if you want to reach your goals.
I recently hit a few roadblocks trying to get my sidebar form just right. After multiple attempts to adjust it myself, I decided to reach out to both of my coaches for help. I went over past training videos and strategies, but no matter what I tried, the form wouldn’t display correctly on my sidebar. After creating a new form from scratch, I finally got it to look the way I wanted, but then new issues kept popping up. Thankfully, with guidance from my coaches and mentor, I was able to work through each problem and get everything working smoothly.
Navigating Technical Hurdles
Technical issues can feel overwhelming, especially if tech isn’t your strong suit! My next challenge was connecting it to my funnel. When it comes to backend tasks like these, it can be easy to get lost in the details, so I was beyond grateful to have a support system.
Thankfully, Dean, my mentor, was there to guide me. He walked me through connecting my form to my funnel on our weekly Zoom call we have every Wed., and finally, I could see the thank-you page pop up after opting in and it was working perfectly. I also noticed that the name and email address were being added to my contacts, which wasn’t happening before either. Seeing that it’s all working seamlessly now, it was so rewarding! I felt such a sense of relief and accomplishment.
Lesson Learned: Having mentors and coaches is invaluable in this business. There’s no way I could have done this alone, and that’s okay because you learn as you go!
Moving on to My Next Project
With that technical hurdle behind me now, I’m excited to move on to my next project, creating a bridge page! In the affiliate marketing world, a bridge page is very beneficial to have for your business, both for you and your subscribers. I’ll be diving into the details of this project more and what all is involved with a bridge page next week, so stay tuned to see how it goes. Here’s to hoping this one will be a smoother experience, but either way, I’ll share it all with you.
Exploring TikTok Live Streams
This week, I also tried something new! I’ve been working to connect with my followers more, offering support and encouragement, and this led me to explore TikTok live streams a little more. A friend invited me to join her daughter’s live, and I decided to take the plunge and join in. Watching it was eye-opening, there’s so much more to TikTok lives than I expected! I’m honestly a little intimidated by the idea of doing my own live, but it’s on my radar as a goal to do eventually.
If you’re on TikTok, you probably know how unpredictable the platform can be. Just when you think you understand the algorithm, it changes! For now, I’ll continue watching lives, getting comfortable, and hopefully preparing to do my own someday.
Key Takeaways
1. Persistence is key when tackling technical issues.
2. Mentors and coaches provide invaluable guidance and support.
3. Exploring new things, like TikTok lives, is a great way to keep growing.

Tech challenges are not the end of the world. As we take on the challenges, we become ready for the next one. One day, it will all flow!!
Hi Kate,
I completely agree, overwhelm can definitely lead to burnout, and having a strong “why” is essential to staying focused and motivated. I’m grateful to say that I do have my “why” clearly defined, and I make it a point to reflect on it every day. It really helps me stay grounded and committed, even on tough days. That’s why I’m still here! 😉

Meredith – I just love this post! It shows that success can happen if one is persistent as is the theme of this blog. One of my favorite quotes that I memorized early on in my life is as follows:
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On!’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
― Calvin Coolidge
Thank you for reporting on your successes as it gives all hope that the possibilities in this business are endless! Have a great week!
