I’m Gonna Get A Little Personal Here And Now
Hi there and welcome back to my blog post!
I hope everyone has had a great week…
In life, there are moments when it feels like the ground beneath us shifts unexpectedly, leaving us with uncertainty and doubt. I received news yesterday that just four months from now, my financial stability—my income—would be split in half. As I had mentioned on my About page, within the next couple of years, my income would be changing. So, this reason was one of the “whys” of me wanting to start this journey of affiliate marketing.
Although I wasn’t expecting half of my income to be gone this quickly, I was only expecting a portion at this time, and then the rest in another couple of years when my youngest would turn 18. See, I collect Social Security for both my boys and myself in the result of my husband passing in 2018. I knew it would be gone at one point once my kids turned 18, I didn’t realize they would be taking mine away at this time now. I thought it would be gone once my youngest turned 18. Not the case!
It was a blow that I hadn’t anticipated. Yet, in the face of this challenge, I made a decision: I wouldn’t let this setback define me or my future, so It’s time to find a job!
The Solution
As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that adaptability is key. So, despite the initial shock, I resolved to move faster, work harder, and strategize smarter to ensure that my business not only survives but thrives. The urgency to secure my financial footing became more pressing than ever. It was a wake-up call!
To top the week off I have had a bad sinus infection I have been fighting all week as well…. 🙁 When it rains it pours, Ha!
Despite feeling physically drained and mentally exhausted, I refused to succumb to defeat. I knew that I couldn’t afford to let this setback derail my progress. So, with determination as my fuel, I pushed through the fog of illness & frustration and continued to work on my business. I found strength in knowing that every obstacle I overcame brought me one step closer to my goals and it has….
The point of this is that we all will come across major setbacks in our lives and in our businesses that will be very challenging for us, so we just have to stay focused, not let them get us down, and conquer whatever comes our way to make sure we are always moving forward in our businesses to become who and what we want to become in life.
Accomplishment’s
With all that being said, I finally completed my funnel, got my workflow set up, and tested every aspect of my funnel. It all worked perfectly!! It was a small victory, but one that filled me with joy and a sense of accomplishment. If you would like to take a look at my optin page please do…. 😊
Words Of Encouragement
Looking back on the journey, I’m reminded of a simple truth: it’s often when life gets hardest that we discover our true strength and resilience. The road to success is rarely smooth or straightforward. It’s filled with unexpected twists and turns, moments of triumph and moments of defeat. But it’s in those moments of adversity that we have the opportunity to grow, to evolve, and to become the best versions of ourselves.
So, as I navigate the uncertain terrain that lies ahead, I do so with unwavering determination and a newfound sense of purpose. I know that the road ahead won’t be easy, that there will be challenges and setbacks in life always. I also know that with perseverance, resilience, and a healthy dose of optimism, I have the power to overcome anything that stands in my way. For it’s true what they say: it has to get real hard before it can get easier in life. And I, for one, am ready to embrace the journey, wherever it may lead.

Meredith, i’m very sorry to hear this in your personal circumstances. Things happen in life all the time that put us in positions where we have to make changes and adjust ourselves. Even though at this stage of this may feel like a big hurdle what it actually is is a huge opportunity for you to really get into your affiliate marketing business. I see it as inspiration to get even more involved into building your business, getting your content out there and getting followers. There’s been times in my life where I thought well that’s it. I can’t do it anymore. But that’s where my mindset was wrong, and now I see things as opportunities . I’m not saying you’re not. I’m just saying it as an example. You’re doing really great and I look forward to the time when you tell us about your first so. I wish you all the best keep going. Thanks, Atif
Atif,
Thank you so much for the nice and kind words of wisdom… I really appreciate it!
That is exactly how I’m looking at it too. This is the time for me to really make things happen here with my business.
I’m naturally a positive thinker, but as you have said, at times in our lives we tend to let things like this bring us down. Not this lady!
I’m hanging strong for now. I can’t tell you what the next couple of months will be like though. 😉
Thank you so much, Atif.
Meredith
Hi Meredith,
Thank you for your openness and more importantly, desire to show to others that nothing will stop you.
It is true, when faced with adversity, we tend to find out how strong we are and how we can surmount pretty much anything thrown at us.
Sending you a great Canadian hug!
All the best!
Hi there Marc,
You are so kind… First, a big hug right back at ya! 🤗 I’ve had a few challenges in my life, as we all have, and it has done nothing but made me a stronger person over the years. I look at this as just one more setback that I will conquer, just like I have with all the others. I’m sure it all will work out. Thank you for your kind comment though. 😊
Meredith
I’m so sorry to hear what you have gone through. That must have been incredibly hard, and the struggle continues.
When faced with adversity, the strong ones shine through, and what a role model you are for others. Well done, keep going and I look forward to reading your next blog.
Hi Sarah,
Thank you! It has been hard, but I try to stay positive, and hope something good comes of it. That’s all we can do. Thank you for your kind words.
Meredith
Congratulations on persisting through adversity and the unknown. Your story is inspiring! Your 4 points on what you have learned are very similar to mine. Each week I seem to learn more. I look forward to watching your success!
Hi Ernie,
Thank you for you comment. I’m glad you were able to relate, and get something good out of my post. It has been a struggle, but I will get through this time in my life! All we can do is learn and grow from it. Thanks again!
Meredith

You need to celebrate all the wins and let them fuel your positive mind. There are going to be obstacles but how you handle them will define who you are and who you will become.
