Striving For Success Through Accomplishments
Hello there everyone!
I hope you all have had a great week….
I think it’s very important to remind yourself of these moments from time to time.
I was listening to my mentor, Dean, the other day on his motivational Monday he does every week, and he was giving some valuable advice about the importance of reflecting on our journey’s accomplishments. He emphasized the significance of acknowledging every milestone we’ve achieved since the beginning of our journey until this present moment. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, constantly chasing new goals and aspirations, but taking a moment to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come can be incredibly empowering and beneficial to our psyche. It’s so easy to beat ourselves up, and not notice our accomplishments.
His words resonated deeply with me as I’ve travel through my journey, and think of the hurdles I’ve overcome. You should do the same….
A Few Examples Of My Accomplishments:
1. Learning all the terms of affiliate marketing and what they mean can be quite challenging at times..
2. Searching for and setting up my domain.
3. Building my website (blog) on WordPress.
4. Learning a brand new system, and the ins and out of how it works, “Affiliate System.”
5. Building & creating my funnel and making sure it works properly.
Those are just some of the things I have accomplished so far, but they’re big accomplishments for me!
When you start your business, you will get caught up in day to day activities and forget to look back at the things you have accomplished. Try no to do that. There will be days when you feel overwhelmed and frustrated, thinking you can’t do this, when in reality, you can. Just remember what you have accomplished, how hard it was to get through those challenging times in your business, and how you did it.
We All Have Been There!
The key is not to let these challenges frustrate you but rather to embrace them as opportunities for growth and learning. This will keep your head above water and get you through the hard times… Keep pushing forward, seeking knowledge, and with time, dedication, and a willingness to learn, you’ll overcome obstacles and emerge as a confident and successful affiliate marketer, equipped with a wealth of experience and expertise, and hopefully a heavy wallet too! 😉 It’s so nice that I have my mentor, Dean, who is always there saying something to lift my spirits up all the time. It is so important to have a good mentor on this journey, and support at home as well.
Discussing Email Marketing.
As I prepare to engage in my email marketing strategy, I feel compelled to dive deeper into the concept of an email list with you, and what is involved.
An email list serves as a vital asset for any business, acting as a curated collection of email addresses belonging to individuals who have voluntarily opted in to receive communications from you, allowing you to deliver tailored messages, updates, promotions, and valuable content directly to their inboxes. By nurturing an email list, you cultivate a community of engaged subscribers who have already expressed interest in your offerings, making them more receptive to your marketing efforts.
Now, before you can begin emailing your “new friends,” as my mentor would say, you want them to “know, like, and trust” you before presenting any offers you have for them. It is so important to do that, because of what I talked about in a previous post of mine “The Things We All Have To Learn To Become An Affiliate Marketer”, and how the spam rate can only be under 3%. The way you start to collect your potential customers is by putting your content on different platforms. We’ll get into the social media part of it more at later time.
A Few Example Of Different Platforms To Put Content On:
1. Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
2. Linkedin, Pinterest, and X (Twitter)
3.YouTub, Snapchat, WhatsApp
An email list provides you with ownership and control over your communications. This ownership empowers you to connect with your audience on your terms, free from external constraints. Moreover, an email list enables you to personalize your messaging, segment your audience, and track performance metrics, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns and driving sustainable business growth.
How To Build An Email List?
1. Create Compelling Opt-In Incentives: Offer valuable incentives such as exclusive discounts, free resources, or insightful content in exchange for email subscriptions.
2. Optimize Sign-Up Forms: Place sign-up forms prominently on your website, blog, and social media profiles. Keep the form simple, requesting only essential information. For example: First name and best Email address.
3. Leverage Lead Magnets: Develop lead magnets such as e-books, whitepapers, or webinars that address your audience’s pain points or interests.
4. Engage and Nurture Subscribers: Once individuals join your email list, send relevant and engaging content, personalized offers, and regular updates to keep subscribers interested and invested in your brand.
5. Monitor and Analyze Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of your email campaigns, tracking metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
By understanding the importance of email lists and implementing effective strategies to build and nurture them, you can unlock the full potential of email marketing in today’s digital world. So, start building your email list today and watch your business thrive through the power of email communication.

Meredith
Meredith, I love this really great summary of what you’ve been doing and also what needs to be done. You’ve listed very clearly very important tasks.I congratulate you on what you achieved so far it’s not easy yet you’ve carried on and created lots of value for yourself and for others. One area where I need to work on is the email campaign at the moment I’m just doing broadcast emails each week. The thought of creating 10 or 20 emails is quite daunting and getting the timing of them right and the content. As as with everything we have to learn and apply. Thanks, Atif
Hi Atif,
Thank you so much! I’m right there with you on the emails. It’s going to take some time and planning, but I know we can do it..
There’s so much to plan and do with everything else, that’s why it’s important to get organized. We will get there…
Thank you for your comment.
Meredith
Meredith,
I like how your blog post teaches to reflect on achievements and celebrate milestones. The mile stones encourage one to keep moving forward. Without them it’s easy to get discouraged, frustrated and bogged down in the details.
I know I do not take the time often enough to celebrate the wins. This is something I need to learn to to do on a regular basis.
Thanks for the reminder.
CJ
Hi CJ,
I’m so glad you were able to get something out of my post. Even if it’s small things, you should try to reward yourself. It helps keep you on track, and boost your confidence. Thank you for your comment.
Meredith
Thankyou for your post Meredith. I need to start noticing my accomplishments as well. I get caught up in the perfection of my website, ads and tasks always seems that I could do more. So I forget that most of these things I never did before and should recognize those for the wins they are. I also enjoyed the way you laid out the email marketing strategies. Keep up the good work!
Hi Ken,
Thank you for your comment. I’m glad this gave you a reminder of acknowledging your accomplishments. You should go do something nice for yourself now.
Hopefully you were able to get something from my email marketing strategies. Thank you for the kind comment. You keep up the nice work too!
Meredith
HI Meredith – I am in the process of setting up my email campaign. It’s a process. It is a little more challenging than I thought it might be but it is doable. And, celebrating accomplishments is so important. We get so caught up in the tasks and we often forget to step back and realize how much we have completed.
Hi Ernie,
Congratulations on getting your email marketing campaign done! It’s definitely a process… You should give yourself a pat on the back for the completion of your email marketing campaign. Great job! Thanks for the comment.
Meredith
Hi, Meredith!
It is so important to celebrate small accomplishments!
Thanks for the reminder.
I have a hard time knowing how to do so, though.
Do you have any ideas on that?
I can give myself a high five, a pat on the back, or do a little dance, but it’s hard to let it really sink in that I’m doing great.
I wonder if you have any tips?
Nakina
Hi Nakina,
I know it’s hard to thing of ways to reward ourselves at times. I’m the same way. I always think of other people, and what they need before taking care of myself. Pat on the back like you say is nice, but you can also go buy yourself something that you have been putting off for whatever reason, or take a short trip somewhere to reward yourself. Those are a few simple things how you can reward yourself. I hope that helps! Thanks for the comment. Let me know how that works for you.
Meredith
Hi Meredith,
Great information and definitely worth its weight in Affiliate gold!
Taking the time to celebrate our wins; so many times we unfortunately just move on to the next “to-do” thing on our list instead of doing just what you did: taking a step back and going “wow” at what we’ve learnt and accomplished!
Can’t wait to read your next entry; they’re always so well structured and with awesome information!
All the best!
Hi Marc,
Thank you for all the kind words. I’m glad you were able to gain some insight from my post.
I do believe it is important for your success in your business to acknowledge your accomplishments.

Meredith
Hi Meredith, I realized also that I’m not appreciating often enough all the gains and knowledge I have acquired up to now. Looking positively at what we have accomplished is a good thing indeed. This makes us proud, build confidence, and boost our mindset to go forward.
You summarized also very well the most important points for building and maintaining an email list. This list is one of the most important asset the affiliate marketer should have as it is an audience he owns. This was clearly stated as well in your blog.
This post as all the ingredients that makes it a good post for me. Thank you very much for sharing.
Martin

Thanks again.

Hi Eleanor,
Having the right support system is crucial in anything you’re trying to pursue like this. I have a wonderful support system, and I’m very thankful that I do.
I know some people don’t have that, and it makes things so much harder for them.
Dean, and this community has been an addition to my support system, and I’m very thankful to have them as well.
Thank you for your comment.
Meredith
I quite agree, It’s amazing, when you take the time to reflect, how much we have achieved. I hope you have loved ones and friends you can celebrate your wins with.
Hi Andy,
Yes it is! I am very lucky and have a wonderful family full of cheer for me, and my accomplishments.
Thank you for your comment.
Meredith
Hi Meredith,
A very interesting blog with a lot of information that people would find helpful. We tend to forget all our accomplishments if we don’t post them on social media.
I don’t talk to my friends much about affiliate marketing as they look at me like I am speaking another language that they cannot understand. So I don’t celebrate any accomplishments with them.
You are doing a good job and I am looking forward to following your journey to success!
Regina
Hi Regina,
Thank you for your comment. I’m sorry you don’t have anyone to celebrate your accomplishments with.
I’m glad you were able to get something good from my post. Thanks again…
Meredith
Wow, that was a great post! It is so important to celebrate one’s accomplishments, big or small. We get so busy that, as time goes by, we don’t realize all of what we’ve done. I love how you pinpointed each accomplishment, and when you see it in writing, it is a lot. Everything we learn is just compiled on top of each other, but realizing the depth of knowledge learned is crucial to recognizing the growth we go through. Thank you so much for your candid and beneficial post.
Hi Vane3ssa,
I’m so glad you enjoyed my post. Viewing and acknowledging your accomplishments is a good thing to do often. ☺
Thank you for your comment….
Meredith
Meredith,
Great blog. It’s so easy to forget what we really have accomplished. Those are huge and I really think i need to start writing those down and put them on my wall to see as a constant reminder.
And I really liked how you broke down the email marketing portion.
Great job as I said, can’t wait to see next week.
Sandy
Hi Sandy,
Thank you for your comment. I’m glad you were able to get something out of my post. ☺
Meredith
Celebrating accomplishments is key to building momentum and confidence. We need to also take walks and consciously breathe to pull energy to the present moment. I believe we are in the right place with Affiliate System to see the results of the fruits of our labor.
Hi Kate,
I beleive we are in the right place too… Dean is a gem!
Thank you for your comment.
