My New Adventure!
Growing My Business with Pinterest
Welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to share Pinterest & Blogging: A Powerful SEO Strategy with you today, this is going to be a huge boost for my business! You know how overwhelming it can be to find the right strategy to grow your online presence? Well, I’ve discovered something truly exciting that I just can’t wait to share with you!
If you’ve been following my journey, you know I started by promoting my “make money online” business before becoming aTikTok Shop affiliate on TikTok. While TikTok Shop has been an exciting opportunity, and I will continue to leverage that part of my business. I’ve decided to diversify my strategy and expand to Pinterest to grow my business more effectively.
Why? Because you don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket. TikTok can get confused when you try to do too many things on one account, which can hurt your reach. That’s why I stopped creating TikTok videos for my “make money online” business. Pinterest & Blogging: A Powerful SEO Strategy is exactly what I need right now, as they work beautifully together, and they’re powerful tools for building a long-term business using SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This will be the new approach I’m using for that part of my business.
Plus, having your own email list and website gives you total control over your business. You’re not at the mercy of any platform, like we just saw with TikTok’s ban and how quickly it wiped out the success of many creators. Your hard-earned work and revenue can be taken away in an instant, so that’s why it’s important to diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket.
Why Pinterest & Blogging Work So Well Together
Pinterest & Blogging: A Powerful SEO Strategy is what makes Pinterest more than just another social media platform, it’s a visual search engine that helps people discover solutions, inspiration, and products. When you combine Pinterest with blogging, you create an evergreen traffic strategy that continuously drives visitors to your business.
How Pinterest Can Boost Your Business
This is how Pinterest & Blogging: A Powerful SEO Strategy will help you:
- Pinterest helps people find your content – When you create visually appealing pins with keyword-rich descriptions, they get discovered by people searching for topics in your niche.
- Blogging provides valuable, in-depth content – Your blog serves as your home base where you can educate, inform, and offer solutions.
- SEO makes everything work together – By using the right keywords, both your blog and Pinterest pins can rank in search results, bringing in consistent, targeted traffic.

How Pinterest & SEO Work Hand in Hand
Pinterest SEO is similar to Google SEO, both rely on keywords to rank content. If you’ve ever searched for business tips, side hustles, or passive income ideas on Pinterest, you’ve seen SEO in action! Here’s how you can use it to your advantage:
- Keyword Research: Use tools like Pinterest Trends, Google Keyword Planner, and Ubersuggest to find popular search terms.
- Optimize Pin Titles & Descriptions: Include relevant keywords so your content appears in search results.
- Create High-Quality Pins: Use eye-catching images and compelling text overlays to encourage clicks.
- Link to Valuable Content: Drive traffic to your blog posts, landing pages, or products.
- Pin Consistently: The more you pin, the better your content circulates on the platform.
How This Can Help You Too!
If you’re looking for a sustainable way to grow your business, Pinterest and blogging could be the perfect combination. They help create an evergreen traffic system that works for you long after you’ve posted content.

Here’s why you should consider adding Pinterest to your marketing strategy:
- Diversification: You’re not relying on one platform for traffic and sales.
- Long-Term Growth: Unlike short-lived social media posts, pins and blog articles continue to generate traffic for months or even years.
- More Sales & Leads: More traffic means more potential conversions.
So whether you’re an affiliate marketer, small business owner, or content creator, leveraging Pinterest and SEO can help you scale your brand without chasing trends.

Hi Alison,
I’m glad the explanation on Pinterest and blogging helped you. Evergreen pins really are a great way to keep driving traffic long-term, especially when combined with good SEO.
As for content, I’ve found that educational pins with quick tips or useful resources work really well in my niche. People seem to appreciate actionable advice they can use immediately! I also focus on making the pins visually eye-catching to draw people in. This is what I plan on doing, I haven’t started creating pins just yet, but this is my plan moving forward.
Thanks again for your thoughtful comment, I’m excited to share more as I go along!

Meredith, it’s nice to see you diversifying your strategy and growing your online presence with Pinterest. I do have recently revived an account but I must admit I’ve only looked at it briefly and at this point more work there would stretch my resources thin.
You lay out some good points why someone should consider adding Pinterest to their marketing strategy. And I have read of the visual search engine capabilities there. I look forward to how you make out with the valuable combination of Pinterest, blogging and maintaining engagement with followers via email.
Hi Robert,
I completely understand how managing multiple platforms can feel overwhelming, especially when resources are limited. It’s all about finding the right balance!
I’m excited to see how Pinterest can complement my blogging efforts, and I’ll definitely keep track of how it all works together with email engagement. The visual search engine capabilities of Pinterest really seem to be an untapped resource, and I’m looking forward to diving deeper into it.
I’ll be sure to share how it all pans out! Thanks for your support and insight!
Meredith
You make so much sense when stating not to put all our eggs in one basket. The example of TikTok was perfect. I hope it all works out well in the end. I also like the way Pinterest is designed. It appears to be friendlier to the users. I look forward to getting into it and learning all about it!
Hi Judith,
Thank you! I’m glad the TikTok example made sense to you. Diversifying really is key, especially with how fast things change online. Pinterest does feel like a user-friendly platform, and I’m excited to explore it more as well. It’s a great opportunity to reach new audiences and build traffic over time!
I’m sure you’ll enjoy learning more about it, it’s a fun and creative space to explore. Thanks for your comment!
Meredith
Hi, Meredith!
I also want to learn how to use Pinterest to showcase my blog. I look forward to hearing how you do it. It seems like another complicated learning curve, but maybe not! I know it would be worth it, even if so. I need to improve my business consistency with TikTok and follow up before I add Pinterest. It will definitely be my next asset! I look forward to seeing your progress!
Best of success to you!
Nakina
Hi Nakina,
It’s great to hear you’re also interested in using Pinterest for your blog! I totally get how it can seem like another learning curve, but I think it’s a fun and worthwhile one. I’m excited to dive into it more and share what I learn along the way.
It’s smart to focus on consistency with TikTok first before adding Pinterest to the mix. Once you’re feeling more comfortable, Pinterest will definitely be a valuable asset to your strategy. Wishing you the best of luck as you continue building your business, keep it up!
Thanks for your kind words and support! Best of success to you too!
Meredith
Meredith, another awesome post. Nice to see you diversifying into other media. I had not even considered Pinterest. I am still just getting started with FB, but this is very helpful for when I start branching out. Well done!
Hi Jordan,
Thanks so much! I’m glad you found it helpful! It’s definitely exciting to branch out into new platforms like Pinterest, and it’s great to hear you’re getting started with Facebook. Every platform offers its own unique benefits, and when you’re ready, Pinterest can be a great addition to the mix. Best of luck as you continue your journey! Appreciate your support!
Meredith
Hey Meredith, you’re an excellent strategist you know that? It ‘s really smart the way you put your eggs in different baskets. As the goal is to bring warm traffic to your own assets, the choice of Pinterest might be indeed a good one. Congratulaions for taking action!
Martin
Hi Martin,
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. I agree, diversifying is key to driving traffic and Pinterest seems like a solid choice to complement everything else. I’m excited to see how it all plays out. Thanks again for your support!
Meredith
Hi Meredith – The fact that you have recognized that diversification is important is truly wise and very timely now in this social media environment. I have always been intrigued by Pinterest yet I do not quite understand it and that is my fault for not taking the initiative to get more information. What items will you promote on Pinterest? I’m very curious. How did you find out more about this platform and how different it is from what you have been doing up till now. Every time I read one of your blog posts I find value as I learned something new every time. This Pinterest thing has really been intriguing and I look forward to following your journey on this platform!
Hi Ernie,
I really appreciate your kind words! Pinterest has always intrigued me too, and I’ve been hearing more and more about how powerful it can be for driving traffic and growing a business. I’ve learned about it through others who have had success with it, and I finally decided to dive in and see how it works for myself.
I’ll be promoting everything I’m an affiliate for, including The Iceberg Effect, Amazon Associates, and the legal page template, along with anything else I join in the future. Since Pinterest is more of a search engine than a typical social media platform, I’m excited to see how it helps with long-term traffic and reach. Thanks for following along, I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn!
